The Sgian dubh is a very traditional Scottish knife, with my fathers side of the family being from the glorious land of the Scots this is a knife that is very close to my heart (and often kept in my sock). I have kept the design close to most of the traditional examples but have added a higher end flare to them using only exotic hardwoods and a mirror finish to the blades each piece is beautiful as well as functional.

Featuring a 100mm blade and a 110mm turned and then carved handle each one fits snuggly in the hand and feels comfortable to use when out camping or cutting food at a wedding. Supplied with a hand stitched leather sheath to protect the blade and for easy wear.

I always use one of three woods for these and with either horn or brass bolsters, if you would like another wood or style do please get in contact, I also do a bulk discount (minimum order of 5) if you wish to order them for groomsmen or any members of the wedding party.

Lead time is 8-12weeks
