Cimbrer Seax
After being a fan of Cimbrer bushcraft for many years I was delighted to see that Tom was looking for a knife maker for his seax design. After a discussion with him about what he wanted and going over the designs I made a couple of prototypes and got him to approve them before we offered them up for sale here.
The blades are forged from 80crv2 steel and feature a full tang construction, the oak handle is shaped by hand and then attached with brass pins.
A leather sheath can be ordered which is made specifically for that knife and they are all hand cut and hand stitched.
Each one is hand forged and finished all by hand using British materials. The oak comes from the Kent and Surrey border whilst the leather for the sheaths comes from the Midlands, all steel is also rolled in the UK.
