Carbon steel paring knife - 9cm

£110.00

A hand forged paring knife perfect for use in the kitchen, the blade is a high carbon steel that is quenched in oil for maximum durability and sharpened and polished to a mirror finish. Each knife is individually made and the handle materials are natural and as such the product may (only slightly) vary in look to those photographed.

The blades are full tang for increased strength and balance and have three brass pins to secure the handle material.

Being carbon steel these knives can rust but if cleaned and dried after each use will last a lifetime. I provide a lifetime guarantee to the knife for any material failings but do not cover wear and tear damage or abuse. When cleaning please do not let them soak in the sink or (an unforgivable action) put them in the dishwasher, both of these actions are considered abuse to the blade.

Orders will reopen on February 1st

Sgian Dubh

£130.00

The Sgian dubh is a very traditional Scottish knife, with my fathers side of the family being from the glorious land of the Scots this is a knife that is very close to my heart (and often kept in my sock). I have kept the design close to most of the traditional examples but have added a higher end flare to them using only exotic hardwoods and a mirror finish to the blades each piece is beautiful as well as functional.

Featuring a 100mm blade and a 110mm turned and then carved handle each one fits snuggly in the hand and feels comfortable to use when out camping or cutting food at a wedding. Supplied with a hand stitched leather sheath to protect the blade and for easy wear.

I always use one of three woods for these and with either horn or brass bolsters, if you would like another wood or style do please get in contact, I also do a bulk discount (minimum order of 5) if you wish to order them for groomsmen or any members of the wedding party.
